Remembering Miss Lillie

SUCCESSFUL EVENT Thanks to everyone who attended and volunteered.

Last night's first-ever "Remembering Miss Lillie" open house was a success. Thanks to a great turnout for last night's event, it was a beautiful tribute to the Legation's "guardian angel." Thank you Miss Lillie for keeping the Legation history alive.

Thanks also to our friends at Save Austin's Cemeteries... we hope to collaborate again at future events!

September grant awards!

GRANTS UPDATE

September was a great month for much-needed grant funds. The Georgia B. Lucas Foundation Fund of the Austin Community Foundation awarded the Legation a portion of the funds needed for the re-roofing of the carriage house building. The $10,000 award leaves a remainder of $6,000 still needed in order for the project to begin. Please contact FLM Staff if you know of potential funders for this very important project.
