A Nineteenth-Century Christmas
Discover the roots of many holiday traditions at the French Legation Museum! Mid-19th Century French practices and American Victorian decoration will be the focus of our tours beginning November 26, 2011 at the French Legation Museum in Historic East Austin. Tours are available daily, Tuesday through Sunday, from 1:00 – 4:00pm. Admission prices are just $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors (62+), and $2.00 for students and teachers. Special group tours can be arranged!

Come enjoy an evening of family fun at the French Legation Museum. This year’s Christmas Tidings Program will include warm refreshments, a Victorian ornament making station, a Victorian Cobweb Party for children, an appearance by Père Noël (the traditional French Santa), and community fellowship. Activities range in price from $1 -$10.
