Austin's Newest French Connection

The French Legation Museum was pleased to host the deligation from Villefranche-sur-mer, France this week while they established a new "sister city" program with Austin. The first Franco-Texan alliance was established in September, 1839 when Austin was the new capital of the Republic of Texas.
